About us

Movingto was created by Dean and Ana Fankhauser. It's your one-stop destination for making global living easy.

Founded in April 2021, Movingto was inspired by our own experiences of moving from London to Lisbon.

Frustrated with the process, we wanted to make relocating a modern, digital, user-friendly, and a more cost-effective experience.

We now live in Lisbon, Portugal, with our two children, and are committed to helping others avoid the same frustrations we experienced.

Since its inception, we've helped issue thousands of visas, and we're growing faster than ever.

Movingto is obsessed with one thing: Client satisfaction.

Lots of companies say that as a buzz phrase, but we actually mean it. We strongly believe that Movingto will thrive or die on that basis.

We try to meet that expectation by focusing on three things:

1. Speed: We use the latest technologies and processes to make sure we process visas and other requirements faster than anyone in the industry.

2. Cost: We are cheaper than anyone else in the industry because we don't have expensive, stuffy lawyer offices. We do things remotely and digitally. We pass those savings on to clients.

3. Communication: We aim to be the most transparent firm in the industry with the best communication tools. By doing so, we communicate with clients in an incredibly rapid and transparent way.
